Harrah's is nice, a dated property. Top hotels in Reno are south of downtown The Atlantis and Peppermill. If you want to stay downtown I would recommend The Eldorado, Sienna (on the river), Harrah's. Below is a link to Trip Advisor - I always like reading the reviews on casinos hotels anyways. Also with Casino/Hotels if you need internet access it is not always free.
