Not mean that Doug.
I respect the author and appreciate the work.
What I mean is when you list an auction and in the description if u write 'according to xxx this chip worth xxxxx' ppl just laugh at u.
Why? Because the price on the book can not follow the market price.
I think this price system is not right.
You can never find the highest price as u don't know the max bid. A chip sold for $50 the maximum bid could be $200. Another guy who is willing to pay $300 could miss the auction. So the sold price $50 doesn't mean anything.
You can never find the lowest price as anyone not interest in the chip may still happy to pay $1 for a chip.
So what I suggest is:
the price on the next chip rack could be like: sold $89.50 on 2013/04/21
It looks much better to me.
