I suspect these Franklin Mint 5's were intented for table play, not for slots. I've never seen one banged up as it would be if used in the macines. In fact, most are pristine unused, some of them proof-like or even proof as they came from the collector sets.
About 1.2 T.O. of silver so worth about $30-35 as melt. Unused ones sometimes can go for $40-50. I'd say yours is destined for the melting pot.
I've wondered myself when the high-limit machines began to be used in Nevada. I think it was probably 1979 as that's the earliest I can remember seeing. That's also the year the feds allowed casinos to have denominated tokens made again for their own use.
