So how does the fact that the Trop apparently made some of us a better offer effect this.

I had made my reservations under the CCGTCC rates, but then got an offer from the Trop for reduced rates and 2 free nights.

I called to change my reservations to take advantage of the offer. I had to cancel my old reservation and call another number to make the new ones.

So now the Trop does not associate any revenues they get from me as being related to the convention, but the only reason I will be staying there is because of the convention. In fact last year was the only time I was ever at the Tropicana in LV and that was also because of the convention.
