There was a big to do about the chips.
They were made for a private buyer in MN if I remember correctly. He intended to sell them in sets for home use on ebay, at least he told Paul-Son that. He never picked them up. Paul-Son sold them to a couple chippers. If I remember right they put them on ebay as single chips. If i remember right the auction was a little mis-leading. I think there was 3 or 4 different casinos.
The BB went ballistic as we felt they were made to fool us. We started an email campaign to Paul-Son. I called the Paul-Son GM 3 days later. His words was. "Enough, keep those crazy chippers off my back and I will get the chips back"
Paul-Son reclaimed the chips and I was told they were destroyed. John B will probably add to this.
