The camera is crap but...
The address 29 S Stone would be where the Westerner building is now. The Westerner Building address is 10 E Broadway and I don't think it is old enough. Probably 50s ???
The next building South at 101 S Stone is the Historic Old Pueblo Building (now COPE) built in 1908 and we went inside because there are old pictures of The Old Pueblo Club up on the wall. Tucson is often refered to as "The Old Pueblo." There is a picture that showed what would have been the building but my picture did not come out. This illegal club would have been right next door to the Old Pueblo Club who's members were the "who's who" of Tucson and Southern Arizona Society for that matter. If I remember I will bring my camera to work tomorrow.
Actually you can just see part of the building to the far left in this picture. The main building in the center of this picture is The Old Pueblo Club. I would have to check public records at the library but, numerically that is were 29 S Stone woud have to have been located. The Old Pueblo Club would have too much to loose by having gambling in their building... but if you checked the records Jim I will bet you that the building at 29 S Stone was owned by Drachman or one of the other prominate founders of Tucson. I will try to get a better picture.
