I agree Archie. Different people have different viewpoints and connections. Just because someone was not there or did not lose someone, their connections were not strong. I remember very strongly the event and did lose some people. Additionally, my family erected the FIRST memorial in AMERICA honoring the 9/11 victims. It was started with my mother and father, and I posted pictures and asked for donations on the chipboard (many donated). I have dedicated space on my website to the 9/11 event and memorial. People in TEXAS (as Rich minimizes- only have a TV connection) were so moved it was as if it had happened RIGHT HERE. I rather resent Rich's assumption my connection was minimal. It was not. Is Rich trying to say HIS sadness of the event trumps everyone else's? Don't go there!
But that is not the real issue, it issue is the post Rich made that appeared to hijack and discount Mike's post as irrelevent. Then for his response to be called un-American? Gimme a break!
What started out as an innocent post was hijacked by Rich.
