John, good reason to use an experienced travel agent. It wouldn't have cost you a dime for the service, and we may have saved you $$$$'s, and a lot of hassle. We book cruises for quite a few club members. We recently booked a club member for a cruise to New Zealand. Since we constantly watch price changes after booking, we were able to upgrade them to a better balcony and saved them $700 PER PERSON. Later on, we were able to upgrade them to a suite for $300 per person.
If the cruise lines reduce pricing after booking we are immediately notified and we can lower your fare. We are also notified of 2 or 3 day sales that seemingly come out of the blue and can save you big bucks. On a resent Cunard transatlantic we were able to upgrade a client from a balcony to a Princess Grille Suite, during a 3-day sale, and still saved them $50 per person.
If we can be of service to anyone planning a cruise, send me an email or visit our website www.moorecruising.com.
