I live down the road from you in the Inland Empire (was in Norco for 20 years, now in Corona). The way the Santana winds howl through this area, I am prepared for frequent and prolonged outages.

One night one of my fellow Edison substation operators responded to trouble out of one of our stations. He was met by a white-faced farmer who had driven Northward on Archibald watching the poles fall like dominoes behind him.

Anyone who isn't prepared in this area probably also runs out of gas frequently.
