For the record I have one each of all the Jetons from $5 thru $100.
All of the lower denoms $5 thru $20 I got in a "trade" with Josh Shore on September 11, 1999.
The $50s and $100s I got off the table while playing on January 31, 2000.
Now the rest of the story.
I was in Vegas for the Superbowl Show and went over to Paris to check out the French Wheel set-up and look at the jetons. When I arrived the table was not open but they were just getting things together to start play. I think I bought in for around $200 and they gave me a couple of stacks of $5 Jetons. I think the minimum bet per spin was $15 or $25, I can't remember. I played and started to hit my #s for a $175 payout (35 x $5). I kept hitting #s and increasing my bets as I went along. After a few minutes, I heard a voice behind me say "Jerry, can I get some of those Jetons I need ?" It was Bruce Landau !!! As I continued to win I pocketed Jetons and passed them on to Bruce. I got real lucky and hit for $50 straight up a payout of $1750. When they paid me they gave me a large Yellow $1000 Jeton. When I finally left the table I probably had around $2000 in Jetons to cash in. As I was standing in line at the cashier's cage, I debated what to do with the $1000 jeton - keep it or cash it. Unfortunately I decided to cash it in as $1000 was a lot of money for me to tie up in a single chip - boy did I make the wrong decsion on that one !!! Overall it was a great day I got all my $50 and $100 Jetons at face value, I got a bunch of lower denomination Jetons to sell and trade and I was able to get my good friend Bruce Landau all the jetons up thru the $100 for his collection.
Take care,
