My interest is UK chips, based purely on the fact that this is where I live and also because I can get to many of the open casinos without too much diffficulty (other than finding time from work and family of course ). It is also nice that there are not too many of us UK collectors and so even the rarer pieces can be found at a reasonable cost.

I do also collect Nevada chips and most of my annual holiday includes some time in Vegas so again I can pick up new chips and cards.

To answer your question on which chip of 2 to take if I could only have one, I guess if one was the first from a particular location or casino that I hadn't already got then that would be a deciding factor, but other than that then my personal preferences come into play - I have always liked CIC chips, and prefer £5 / $5 denominations if there is a choice. Next would be a mold that isn't around these days (jockey, scroll, lg key etc) and then condition. But sometimes of course it just comes down to the fact that I like the look of a chip for no objective reason!!!!
