A couple of years ago, I fished this odd-looking $1 Harrah's New Orleans chip from the poker room pot. I put it my pocket, took it home and tossed into a cigar box of odd finds. Today, while doing some cleaning, I re-examined it again. Can anyone explain the grey ring around the chip. It is uniform on both sides and appears the color permeates both sides of the chip's rim. I am not getting too excited that this is something very rare, but the intact chip looks too even all around and if somebody did anything to it, they had a very steady hand because of its uniformity. Does anyone have any information about this chip or has anyone ever seen one?
