Dave, since Greg put up the new board, I have noticed most of the times I click a link in a post (but not all???), it opens a new browser window. That new window has no history, hence no "back" button. If you look at your task bar, you should see the multiple instances of the browser. You can close the new instance, or leave it there while you click back over to the old instance where the message is still current. At least that's how it works on my 'puter.
