The problem with the Trop, Riv and most of the other casinos considered for our convention is that most of them wanted large guarantees that we could not meet and in the past they "nickel and dimed" us to death. I pay the bills and I can tell you that the Southpoint has not charged us for anything that we did not order or want. Conventions are very expensive to run and the prices are outrageous (can you believe $40 per gallon of coffee?) so to find a place that does not pad the bills is very important. We provide lots of nice ameneties at our show and it is all available for $20 for three days.
