The story of the counterfeiter was that he was using very high quality techniques to make the fakes. He got the alloy just right, and was using lost wax casting methods (or something similar) to make nearly exact copies. He apparently took the Mohegan Sun for a huge amount before he was caught - and he got let off with a fairly light sentence in return for consulting back to the trade. It is an interesting story if you google the background. I'd be scared to go in to try and cash it, they might lock me up! (Or just take it away - which would be almost as annoying)
