I agree Jim. AROUND me, cellphones at the dinner table are not acceptable (a huge pet peeve). My family and I were at a nice restaurant not long ago when we all could not help but watch a mother and daughter sitting near us. They both were focused on their cellphones and said less than 10 words to each other, they talked more to the waiter than each other. When their food arrived, they took a bite or two, but were too busy to eat. They actually had the waiter take the food back to have it re-heated! Still they were too busy to eat, they had the meal put in to-go boxes and left. Afterward the waiter even commented on them and their addiction to their cellphones (as if we hadn't already noticed). ONE DAY people will discover other HUMANS here on earth!
