I used to be a member of the club, but for various reasons I did not renew my membership. I still collect chips and enjoy the hobby very much. Ive met many members and attend conventions and shows often. Most of the members that I have encountered are very interesting and intelligent people and others I avoid at all costs. But this is true of all people in general. Unfortunately, the idea of "members being fair to other members" goes right out the window when it comes to money. Higher prices are justified in sellers' minds. For example, time, travel, expense, are all included in the price of a chip. I understand this. That's why, in my mind, being a member doesn't matter. It's all a matter of shopping around. Whether its on the board, eBay, websites, etc.....shop to find the best price.
