Gaming doesn't want to hear complaints from collectors/dealers about not being able to get quantities of chips from their cages for re-sale. The casino cage is not the private bank for chip collector-dealers. Atlantic City had a policy of no chip sales at the cage for years. New chips always had to be purchased from the tables, usually a dead roulette table. If someone needed help getting additional chips, they had to rely on bringing other people to help buying them and when they were gone, they were gone.
