The reason the founding fathers put in the 2nd Ammd was to give citizens protection against their own government which has become more & more incidious!

Too many people are willing to give up your rights as long as you can take away the rights of others - which are individual not collective rights - you fail to remember that it is a protection for the individual!

They come from GOD not the government!

If you want to re-evaluate something - do away with all the murders and mass killers in prison - tomarrow wouldn;t that be better for the collective?
