Yes, I'm just comparing these very closely related flags. I know what you mean about the other direction, liberty cap flags. Those have bigger inlays and look to be made much later than these. I would take the number of stars with a grain of salt. In 1880 there would be close to 38 stars on the US flag. I don't think these early crest & seals even go back that far. I'm no expert on that.
