I am sorry you feel that I have been disingenous in any way. Im not saying what any grading service will, or want to grade. I do know if there is no market, and collectors do not want something graded, then that type of chip will not be graded. I think you have to remember that it will be an individual that submits chips to be graded. How can a grading company grade what is not sent in to be graded. If they are grading lower value chips, then there will be collectors that want those chips graded. I can tell you from my experience in baseball cards, lower condition, and lower valued cards are not submitted. Like I have said in other post, not every new and potential collector has your experience in knowing the condition of a chip, and I think it will make it easier for new collectors to enter the hobby. As for my blunders, I accept responsibility for them. There are people who may truly believe that their chips are mint condition and say so when they are not, and there are some that misrepresent their chips, because they would like to sell them, and they will do and say anything to sell them. A good grading service will stop those people. Let me say that most of the people I have purchased chips from have been hospitable and tried to give me the best description they could. Not allways have they understood exactly what I was looking for in a mint condition chip. I do not have enough knowledge to discuss other parts of the hobby that I am not involved in. I have kept what I have purchased to a very narrow area. I have enjoyed doing so, as I'm sure you have enjoyed purchasing what you collect. Thanks Ric Chandgie
