Yes I was the seller Alan. And I agree, I thought it was out of character for ebay to refund the amount in full as well as refunding my sellers fees and then for paypal to do the same. I used their service(s) yet in the end neither myself or the buyer paid a cent. Very unusual but I'm sure they'll fix that loop hole up quick smart.

In regards to the buyer, it was explained to him the costs involved (final valuation fees etc) at least twice before he started to get a little hissy. But then now that all is said and done I can only say fair enough as it was proven that he was indeed correct in his assumption that all fees were also returned. I don't think he knew this for fact, I just think he was under the impression that was he was saying was correct. And as it turned out...it was.
