Question of Ethics - Let say I sell a couple chips on E-bay and charge the buyer $3.00 combined postage. Upon payment the chips are sent delivery confirmation using an Ebay/Paypal mailing label. After about a week the package is returned to me as undeliverable, unable to forward. Upon emailing the buyer I am informed that Ebay has the buyers previous mailing address. The buyer claims for some reason he has tried to change his address on Ebay and that for several months he has had problems with this.
My question is should the buyer be responsible for the additional postage to re-mail the chips? Just trying to get your consensus on this issue. Your answer will not matter to me as I have already re-mailed the chips and will eat the cost if the buyer does not respond to my request for additional postage.
