on this issue. I will try this once I break off from using my lap via the tether. However, in using the tether I am not using a different copy of IE. Just where is the DNS info stored and does the laptop store one set for when I am using COMCAST, another for Sprint (via the tether, another for McCarran Airport, etc.?

Thanks for your efforts. And for what its worth, the first two things I tried was to delete cookies, temporary files and like for IE, and then re-set the router, to no avail.
