Seems like the Storm of the Century is a bust. I stuck a yard stick on the deck at 6:00pm and it currently measures less than 2" of snow. On the other hand it IS snowing quite hard now & the wind is picking up.

You wouldn't have believed the hype earlier today. I heard one weather report that predicted 4' of snow. Massachusetts went a little overboard and cancelled all schools very early this morning, strongly discouraged tractor trailers from traveling on the highways, and gave all "non-essential" government employees the day off. (I'm wondering if they are "non-essential" why they are on the payroll in the first place.)

On a positive note... we received a shipment of garden tools & lawn mowers today at Home Depot.
