I disagree. It can not be bad for the hobby. The more people that see them, the more people that will start to collect them.

I do agree that there are too many for me. I collected every LE in the USA when they started. First, I cut back to NV LE's only. Second. I cut back to LV only. Third I decided I did not have to have ALL LV LE's.

I also have what I think is a large obsolete NV collection. I also know I can not get all obsolete NV chips.

Everyone has to decide for themselves, what is best for their collection.
