believe that it is an alligator, albeit an artist's rendering of an alligator.

Perhaps interesting to note... A while back I had occassion to try and locate a copy of the original artwork (a copy) that was used by Paul-Son to present to Gaming for approval of this alligator themed set of house/rack chips. Evidently, Paul-Son had an outside artist do the design and they did not keep/get a copy of that artwork and have since had to re-create it for newer chips with their own in-house graphic arts department.

The son of one of our members works in that graphic arts department and that department has been responsible for quite a few of the 's Chip of the Year Awards. Not to mention that they have been rather generous with handouts to the Club.

As for the horn... It's just a horn.
