A "collector" buys a bunch of LE's (different, the same? it does not matter). The objective being buy low (face) and sell high (in a year or so). When that does not materialize, the realization becomes, well, I better get my money back. But before I do, I'll make sure that those that did not purchase from me won't benefit from my turning them in!

It's a form of punishment to those who did not buy from him.

Also, there is an attitude of, If I can't have them, then no one can have them!

All are signs of a sick mind and sadly, this behavior does exist!
