...then perhaps "seller" shouldn't have jacked up the price when they got a few emails inquiring about the chip. THAT takes an impressive amount of brass ones to pull a stunt like that.
I will say, of the clubs I have joined over the very short 42.6 years of my life, this club, far and away, has worked the hardest to keep away the trolls & try to keep everything as fair as humanly possible. During my baseball card collecting days, if I had sent some form of communication to Barry Halper, Topps baseball cards AND Sports Collectors Digest in the same day, not only would I NOT have received any response back that day, I probably wouldn't only heard back from one; and that would have been in a form letter at best!! Within the first few months of my joining the club, not only was I welcomed by dozens of club members, but if I was curious about a chip, I didn't feel intimidated about asking James Campiglia, or David Spragg, or Gene Trimble, or Andy Hughes or Chuck Smorse (and the list goes on and on and on) a question about a chip, and I got a response back!! Usually very quickly. Unless I said something bad to Mr. Smorse about Notre Dame, then the response was quicker, and was laced with maps of all the specific places I could kiss Chuck's ass!! I'm honored to be a part of this club, I think we do a lot of things right, and I hope when the time comes for my generation to pass this club on to the next generation (like my darling Goddaughter who is ready to start the 2nd grade in a few weeks!) that we've taken care of the club and did our part to help the club last another generation or two!
