Ebay policy has changed the prices of chips....

Most collectors and dealers use ebay to buy and sell chips.

It used to be when you listed a chip for sale on ebay you paid a fee. Seller fees were basses on the listing price coupled with the sale price. This discouraged sellers from listing high priced chips over and over again, because they would pay significant fees even if the item didn't sell. At some point ebay changed their rules and now days you can list chips at any price and even add the "buy it now" option, all without any seller fees. The result is a ton more chips being offered at any price the seller cares to ask and they don't have to pay a dime until they actually sell something. Currently there is no "penalty" for listing chips for sale on ebay, this has altered the market.
