On page 1 of mine (which looks like the one you refer to) it says prices effective Dec 1, 1937. The inside of the cover gives addresses of 7 offices of theirs all over the US from Newark NJ to San Francisco. ... .... K C Card teamed up with Mason and Co, the other major company of the type. I have one catalog as early as 1927 with the names of both companies (KC Card and Mason) on the cover....Most of their catalogs are not rare at all.
