When we were there the Midnight Star, Mineral Palace and Celeberty did not have $1.00 chips. The Celeberty also did not have $5.00 chips. First gold used BlackJack and Horseshoe chips and Miss Kitty's at one time used Casey's chips. Don't know if they still have table games or not.

Check out Deadwood Dick's if you are interested in antiques. It is like an antique mall. Think they had some coins and tokens, don't know about chips.

We have stayed at the Franklin Hotel and Deadwood Dick's. The Franklin is an old hotel but I think the lobby has been remodeled. The rooms at Deadwood Dicks are upstairs over the warehouse/antique store. May have to use freight elevator to get to your room if you stay there.
