It is not that rare in my opinion as I have seen it before. My guess would be a value of $7 to $12. About Ed Hertel's catalog, most prices in there are way out of line. At the time no one knew how many chips would show up of a certain kind and also chips in general have come down a lot since 2005.

If you have chips that are not standard casino chips you may want to buy a copy of The Gaming Table, the new edition #4 is out....sells for about $55.00.
