I hate to hear something like that. It's not just the chips that are lost; it is the lowering of trust in our fellow men due to the poor choices of a few.

I hope that you have brought it to the attention of the staff. I had a camera stolen from a rental car when I stayed at Harvey's in Lake Tahoe a few years back. I talked with security AND the Valet staff and, miracle of miracles, it was "found" and turned into security the next day!
