() "UT" Universal Time is basically UTC (Universal Time Coordinate) meaning the Prime M e r i d i a n, meaning Greenwich Mean Time and Eastern Time is -5 hours ahead of Greenwich, IF I CACULATED correctly and in the right direction! 
Does this have something to do with watching the Olympics on TV?
