I too look forward to collecting these club related convention issues Don. While I am aware there is a cost to the club associated with producing these items, let's not lose sight of the fact that the club was organized primarily for collectors! Many club members have personal chips commercially produced at considerable expense in order to trade these items. So too should the club continue to produce these much sought after items in my opinion. Perhaps if more member/collectors expressed their sentiments on this subject the decision by the BOD to continue producing them for future conventions might sway a couple of fence-sitter decision makers.
