Just finished it. What a neat book! I've lived in NW Ohio for 45 years and had no clue of the illegal gambling places in Toledo. I've unknowingly driven right by many of those places. I wouldn't have known anything at all if I hadn't accidently stumbled on to a Hollywood Casino chip on Ebay last year!
A lot of research went into this book on Toledo's 'Underworld', and it shows with all the mug shots, old newspaper articles and chip scans. I love reading 'history' pieces like this. It adds a bit of 'color' to our great hobby. (-:
