Money-losing auctions

What Archie was getting at - and I was hinting - is that the seller will be giving away the chip and taking a loss from PayPal and possibly eBay. Some sellers avoid the loss by failing to ship the merchandise.

We have seen the commercials for new auctions sites that advertise that TVs sell for $10 and cars sell for $300. What they don't disclose is that many sellers - disappointed by the sales price - don't bother sending the item. Internet complaint boards are filled with these types of reports.

I hope your seller is honest and you get to rub it in our noses later!
