While at Spirit Mountain in OR, around 6-7 years ago, I sat in a small stake holdem game, after busting out of a tournament. To make a long story short, a young man and 3 other more seasoned players were locked into a huge pot...as it turned out the young with pocket Jacks got out after the board turned scary. The board eventually look something like this...AAAxx...One player had the ACE, another had pocket Kings and the 3rd player had pocket Queens...yeah you are way ahead of me...if the young man had stayed in he would have gotten 50% of the Bad Beat Jackpot...as it was he dropped out and got only a players share...just like I did...The pocket Queens got the 50%, the 4 Aces got 25% and the players got around $600...And yes we took the young man over to the bar and treated him to several drinks...Live and Learn.
