I live near South Point and eat out 2-3 times a week, 52 weeks a year. I could be of more help, if you tell me your favorite foods. While I wait to hear your favorite foods:

The Buffet at the M (even though over priced on weekends) is the best for the price during the week days.

Oriental and Sushi, try Koji's in The Orleans.

On a par with Battista's is the Bootlegger (on Las Vegas Blvd, just N of Blue Diamond and just S of the Outlet Mall).

Steak requests will get you at least 20 different opinions. I stay away from the Casinos for Steak, as there are 2 great Steakhouses not in Casinos, for every one in a Casino. The exception is the Steakhouse in Circus Circus which wins the locals vote every year, and my girl friend loves the $7.77 steak dinner at the Hard Rock based on both price and quality.
