I heard from one of the Tunica locals that Isle of Capri is going to be bought by Park Place. He was not specific as to if it would involve all of Isle or only the Tunica/Lula properties. He did say that an agreement had been reached and it was just down to signing the papers. I personally have my doubts about this. It does not make a lot of sense for an upscale operator like Park Place to buy a second tier operation like Isle. Maybe one of the other locals like Todd can comment.
