I think they did write a fair, well-balanced (if rather short and therefore not very detailed) article on the issue. It presents our anti-slabbing efforts in a favorable light.
Also thought it interesting that they chose to publish the anti-slabbing pledge in its entirety!!
The majority of Coin World's readers are going to be surprised that we have mounted such well-organized opposition to slabbing.
While I consider it unfortunate that both ICG and Sahara Coins are going to have tables at OUR convention, we should make the best of that situation by giving them a clear and unequivocal message that they and their service are NOT welcome in our hobby. We can do this by joining the Slab Free Chapter, supporting the Slab Free table at the convention, buying & wearing a Slab Free t-shirt (I will post more on this at a later date, but it will feature the same design as the slab free chips & buttons) and BUYING NOTHING from anyone selling slabbed chips.
NOT IN MY HOBBY. NOT ON MY WATCH. NOT WITHOUT A FIGHT.
