And, as long as my transfer rate doesn't jump through the roof, I plan to keep more messages on the board than I used to. They used to scroll off at 500 messages, now, if all works out, I plan to keep the last 1500 or so on the current board.

Also, with this new board, I should be able to keep about 30,000 messages in each archive with no problem. That will cut the number of archives one has to search through to find a message down by about a fifth. I will even be able to add in all the messages from when the board was on previous servers.
