Marv; While that was a change I made last year in response to a suggestion made on this bulletin board, I did not receive ANY empty SASE's last year. I still for the life of me can't understand why if someone was going to take the trouble to send me an empty SASE, why they couldn't enclose the nomination form with ONE chip or ONE token nomination listed on it.

Surely, club members know of one chip or token that was issued in the year 2000. There have been well over 50 attractive chips posted to this board in the last week or ten days, all of them worthy of being nominated. There has probably been just as many images (50) posted as they were being released to the www.thechipboard.com throughout the year 2000. There have been newly issued jetons issued around the world that have been posted to this bb, so the excuse that one doesn't know of any chips or tokens issued last year is a bogus one.

Nominate one to five chips, or one to five tokens, and you get see the top ten chips nominated and the top ten tokens nominated in full color .... and you are automatically on the judges panel and receive the Official ballot with the color repro sheets.... plus, you will also receive a questionnare to decide on how YOU would like next year's contest to be conducted.

Don't nominate and you don't get to vote. It couldn't be made any simpler.

As of yesterday, (have not been to the post office today) I have received nominations from only 45 club members .... with only two weeks to go before the deadline.
