I knew quite a few months ago that I wasn't going to be able to make it to the convention this year. Short on funds was part of it, and I have races the weekend before and the weekend of the convention. I had the same work schedule for those two weekends last year, but still managed to show up Monday-Wednesday. The difference this year is my racing schedule got cut from 22 races last year to 13 this year.

I was really hoping to find a way to make it out there in October again for the poker tournament. Hitting the lotto is the only way that will happen after what happened to my car yesterday.

I've been driving small cars for many years. My Kia Rio replaced an Isuzu Impulse that I drove for 17 years!
