Take the next Chip Scanning 101 that Charles offers. It is only an hour and answers so many questions. It's well worth while.

Increase the dpi
The sample did scan at 200 dpi
I scan at 266, some scan at 300
Fred, as general rule, I always scan at 300 dpi...
