I neglected to cover. Boyd did have a lot of cash when they opted to mothball Echelon. But since then they bought into Imperial Palace (MS) and the name "IP" (one of the reasons the name goes away in Vegas). And now, just a week or two ago, they bought 5 casino operations in the mid-west. While they may not have had enough to buy the Cosmo, they probably had enough to secure it, but that is gone now.

I believe that makes 7 acquisitions in the past year.
