I tried to purchase the Epson Perfection V30 but it was unavailable in South Korea.
The voltage here is 220 and the V33 has a 220 volt plug, unlike the 110 voltage in the US.
Another difference is the metric system is used here and the standard size paper is A4, not 8½ X 11 inches. The V33 scanner bed I have is A4 sized. I don't know if the V33 for US has a different size scanner bed.
I am completely satisfied with my V33 even though I paid double the price as available on amazon.com.
