Not only have I redeemed that way (and even had to involve gaming in one instance when there was a dispute over something being obsolete) but Ive also bought that way. One casino even used to mail new issues and they paid the postage!

Anyway, I guess it is also a violation to use chips to tip waitresses or other employees?
