LVA Question of the Day today about chips...

LVA Question of the Day - 23 MAY 2012

Q: I have a bunch of chips I forgot to cash in before I left
town. I called the three casinos that I had chips from and
two said that it was against the law for them to buy via
mail and one said "no problem". Is there a law preventing a
casino from buying my chips back through the mail?

Read the answer here (I believe this link will only work today 5/23):

Bet most collectors didn't know that they don't actually "own" the chips in their collection. I know of Southern Nevada collectors who mailed their chips up north and HAVE received redemption checks. I'm thinking those casinos didn't know that they violated a NGCB statute.

Thanks everyone....
I've found that to be very accommodating.
